Fan-made Peter Capaldi Doctor Who opening sequence

September 4, 2013 by Andrew Girdwood Leave a Comment

This opening title sequence for Doctor Who isn’t real. It was made by VFX artist Xander David-Hugh at Neon Visual. The project took some 8 weeks to make and started before Xander even knew Capaldi had been appointed Doctor. The “remastered” theme tune uses the context of a timelord’s twin heart beat.

Mashup: Attack on Totoro

September 2, 2013 by Andrew Girdwood Leave a Comment

The question is no longer, “Can you mash up My Neighbour Totoro with Attack on Titan?” Why not? Ron Chan shows quite clearly that you can. The question is now, “Should you mash up y Neighbour Totoro with Attack on Titan?” What do you think? Entirely too weird? Horribly good?

Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. teasers

August 8, 2013 by Andrew Girdwood Leave a Comment

Marvel have been pumping out plenty of teasers for S.H.I.E.L.D. and I suspect the American network carrying the show, ABC, are helping too. Here’s two more. Agent Coulson gathers his team from across the US to investigate the growing number of superheroes. This is a Joss Whedon (Jed too) project and it’s hard to see […]

You certainly can get a food feel for the movie with this chunky trailer, more than 3 minutes in length and full of beautiful space scenes of deadly battle and explosions. The Japanese […]
