Onyx Equinox first popped up on our radar back in June when Crunchyroll announced it was making Sofia Alexander’s (The Powerpuff Girls, Infinity Train) series.
Now we have a new trailer for the English language anime and a premiere date.
When does Onyx Equinox start? Crunchyroll will start to air the series from Saturday the 21st of November.
Izel, the lowest of the lowly human, and charged with closing those five pesky underworld gates will be voiced by Olivia Brown, Yaotl, that kick-ass jaguar emissary of Tezcatlipoca, by Alejandro Vargas-Lugos.
News of Onyx Equinox’s start date, along with interviews with the cast and crew came out of a busy Virtual Crunchyroll Expo.
The show had more than 85 panels, more than 200 guests on those panels along with 100 exhibitors in the virtual shopping district. Merch offers included Rising of the Shield Hero Staff Memorial Book and a new Crunchyroll Loot Crate.
