Evil Hat Productions and the Bundle of Holding have unleashed the Monster Hunters of the Week Bundle, rounding up the complete modern catalogue for Michael Sands’ hit action-horror game. The collection marks the Bundle of Holding debut of the updated 2023 Revised Edition core rulebook, bringing the definitive modern monster-hunting toolkit together with its most recent crowdfunded expansions.
Whether your gaming group leans into teenage cryptid investigations straight out of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, back-road paranormal hunts channelled from Supernatural, or paranoid alien conspiracies echoing The X-Files, this collection packs enough episodic terror to run whole television seasons. Everything is supplied in DRM-free digital formats, ready to load onto tablets or laptops ahead of game night.

Monster of the Week runs on the Powered by the Apocalypse engine, using straightforward 2d6 resolution to keep table action moving fast. On a 10 or higher, the hunter succeeds cleanly; on a 7 to 9, they pull it off with a complication or cost; and on a 6 or lower, the Keeper makes a hard move to escalate the danger. Basic moves like Investigate a Mystery, Kick Some Ass, and Use Magic provide the core operational baseline, while over two dozen specialised character playbooks give each player distinct cinematic archetypes, from The Chosen and The Professional to The Spooktacular.
The expanded line goes well beyond small-town suburban mysteries. The Codex of Worlds introduces Team playbooks like Suburban Watch Groups, Whistleblowers, and Touring Bands, while mapping out setting frameworks that stretch into Renaissance intrigue, the Gothic Century, and the Stone Age. Supplements like Apocrypha and Mystic Marginalia layer in rapid-fire mystery formats, zoomed duelling rules, and hundreds of randomised prompt tables for the Keeper.
The Monster Hunters of the Week offer runs until midnight at the International Date Line (UTC -12) on Monday, 2 November 2026. All downloads are DRM-free, come directly from the Bundle of Holding, and include automatic sync access to your linked DriveThruRPG library.
