A narrator explains the game, the history, and the trouble you can get yourself into while a montage of supporting gameplay carries on in the background.
They’ve paid attention to horses. Some breeds are better suited to specific tasks and how you treat your ride will impact gameplay. If you get on well with an experienced horse, then that’ll be a big help during a tense situation.
As you might have predicted, Rockstar Games have also paid attention to guns and fights. Each weapon has its unique feeling and behaviour. The goal, the narrator tells us, is to keep our outlaw ‘grounded’ during the battle.
Red Dead Redemption 2 is due out in October for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
