Free RPG Day is about getting out to visit your friendly gaming store, to give them some support and increase your chances of spotting your next favourite RPG.
Magpie Games is a sponsor they’ve announced a physical “Pellenicky Glade Quickstart” for the forthcoming Root RPG.
Root RPG, based off the hugely popular Root board game by Leder Games, was a Kickstarter smash hit for Magpie Games. It took over $600,000 in pledges.
The game is based on Powered by the Apocalypse, and this quickstart includes a look at the game’s core mechanics, pre-genned characters (you play as animals) and a new clearing filled with adventure.
