Propstore and Alcon Entertainment have launched an online auction featuring more than 300 original props, costumes, and set pieces from Denis Villeneuve‘s 2017 science-fiction film Blade Runner 2049. The sale runs exclusively on Propstore’s platform from 15 September until 14 October 2026, marking what the organisers state is the final studio-backed opportunity to acquire production material directly from the production archive.
Bidding opens across several high-profile screen-used assets that defined the film’s bleak, physical aesthetic. Leading the catalogue is the animatronic memory orb used by Carla Juri as Dr Ana Stelline, carrying an opening bid of $35,000 (£26,500). Collectors can also bid on Ryan Gosling‘s complete Officer K costume, which includes the trench coat screen-matched to the opening confrontation with Sapper Morton (Dave Bautista), opening at $20,000 (£15,100). Additional items include the stunt LAPD 2019 PKD Detective Special blaster carried by Harrison Ford as Rick Deckard (estimated at $15,000), the hero blaster wielded by Sylvia Hoeks as Luv (estimated at $8,000), and the translucent yellow raincoat and boots worn by Ana de Armas as Joi (estimated at $5,000).
Production designer Dennis Gassner leaned into practical set builds and physical mechanisms rather than relying purely on greenscreen environments. That hands-on approach explains why artefacts like the memory orb command higher entry bids than static firearm casts; functional electronics and screen-matched wardrobe retain premium interest in the memorabilia market.

Alcon Entertainment and Propstore will donate 5% of the total hammer price to CORE (Community Organized Relief Effort), the disaster relief organisation founded by Sean Penn and Ann Lee. Prospective buyers should note that this donation applies strictly to the hammer price rather than the total invoice, meaning the contribution does not factor in buyer’s premiums, which routinely sit at 25% or higher across major entertainment auctions.
The timing of the sale serves a distinct promotional purpose for Alcon. The studio is clearing its physical archives just as the franchise shifts focus to the small screen. Blade Runner 2099, a limited television series produced by Alcon, Scott Free Productions, and Amazon MGM Studios, is scheduled to premiere on Prime Video on 25 November 2026.
Set fifty years after Villeneuve’s film, the upcoming series stars Michelle Yeoh as Olwen, a replicant nearing the end of her lifespan, alongside Hunter Schafer as Cora. Showrunner Silka Luisa and executive producer Ridley Scott wrapped principal photography earlier this year across Northern Ireland and the Czech Republic, using facilities at LK-TEL and Barrandov Studios in Prague. The liquidation of Blade Runner 2049 physical assets draws a hard line under the 2017 cinematic chapter while setting the stage for the streaming era.
Fans registering for the auction receive an automatic entry into a promotional draw to win K’s black production sweater, open to legal residents in the United Kingdom and the 48 contiguous United States.
