Sony’s new Android S1 and S2 tabs: one sparkles, one spooks

I don’t think the second of these videos are supposed to be spooky… but it is. How come? It’s the gradual creep, the slowness, and the silence.

However, let’s distract ourselves with the first ad. This is shiny. This promises the latest in Android tablet tech. Tech that can talk to your PlayStation. The S2 can fold up and fit in your (big) pocket too. I think there’s every reason to be interested in these two.

No doubt, shiny! Compare and contrast to this ad. This is far less shiny. Sure, it’s clever but it’s clever in the way The Silence are. In a scary way.
