Glam rock and vampires: Visual Prison

There’s a fashion/movement in Japan known as Visual Kei, which I can best describe, albeit poorly, as glam rock. Heavy eye makeup, flamboyant hair and clothes, sometimes androgynous looks.

With that in mind, Visual Prison is a Visual Kei and vampire mashup.

That’s the first trailer we’ve got for the show.

The series is being made as a TV anime by A-1 Pictures, and in keeping with the music connection, the featured song Guilty†Cross is performed by the in-anime group Eclipse.

There’s no news as to whether the show is heading Westwards but English on the key visual is always a good sign.
