North Wind Adventures set a goal of $20,000 to bring a third edition of the swords, sorcery and weird science-fantasy RPG Hyperborea to life on Kickstarter.
Designer Jeffrey Talanian worked with Gary Gygax on a game called Castle Zagyg and then started North Wind Adventures to push his own modules.
The discount site Humble Bundle has $624 worth of OSR RPG goodies in a bundle. It’s a $1 to get a slice of the action.
To make this list an RPG has to be in the top ten sellers (Jan 1st to Dec 11th) of all the games the publishers have added the ‘pulp’ genre tag too. This means we’ve games that are solidly in the pulp genre, systems which could but don’t have to be used for pulp RPGs and even games you might not consider pulp at all.
