A24 is not afraid to put out movies that other studios would baulk at. That has historically been movies too ‘arthouse’ for more mainstream tastes. This time, they’re backing Alex Garland’s (Annihilation/ Ex Machina) glimpse at an American that has now truly gone to war with itself in Civil War.

IF (Imaginary Friends) trailer – rolling for perception

John Krasinski is bringing us IF, a movie about a teenage girl who can suddenly see all the abandoned Imaginary Friends (“IFs”) in the world. It’s through Paramount, but has a distinctly Disney/Pixar feel to it with a mix of live action, and CGI animated IFs.
