The BBC have confirmed that the title of the 50th Anniversary Special for Doctor Who will be called “The Day of the Doctor”. We had been told “featured film” in length – so around 90 minutes in length. As it turns out The Day of the Doctor will be around 75 minutes in total. That’s […]
Articles by Andrew Girdwood - Page 1562
Looking back to 7th September 2013, Andrew Girdwood filed a report detailed as "Boris Bakliža is an artist and cartoonist from Serbia with the mind of a gamer. He shared the following illustrations as a sample of his work, of his style, and I think they're well worth hooking up with the roleplaying crowd as a source of inspiration.". The four Indiana Jones villains
Drawn by Otis Frampton and shared in a post called I hate these guys are four Indiana Jones villains. Each one was created in Photoshop CS5 on a Cintiq 21UX. I think they’re superb.
Too good to eat? Legend of Zelda: Wind Walker birthday cake
This impressive Legend of Zelda: Wind Walker cake was made by Nerdache Cakes for a 1st birthday. Link and Zelda are 8″ fondant figures.
The Retro of Tomorrow
Another skilful illustration by Sergi Brosa. The artist is worth following on his Facebook Page for other highlights.

A cosplay Zoe from MCM Scotland Comic Con
The first ever MCM Comic Con to run in Scotland has just finished. It’s held in Glasgow but isn’t Glasgow Comic Con, I guess MCM didn’t think Glasgow was big enough or are sure they’re not going elsewhere in Scotland too and so this arm of the franchise gets to be a country level Comic […]

Boris Bakliža’s character art

He shared the following illustrations as a sample of his work, of his style, and I think they’re well worth hooking up with the roleplaying crowd as a source of inspiration. That said; I spy some ideas in here that […]
