Free League Publishing will begin the Kickstarter for Twilight: 2000 on August 12th.
There’s an upcoming project page already in place, with nearly 50 followers who have hit that “Notify me on launch” button.
Plans for the 4th edition of Twilight: 2000 were announced in May this year when Free League shared the news they had signed a deal with Game Designers’ Workshop and Amargosa Press.
The 4th edition is a step back towards the classic apocalyptic feel of the original. It’ll be set in an alternative timeline for Earth where players are survivors of World War III and the year is 2000.
Free League’s Year Zero Engine will power the RPG and the”hexcrawling” pioneered by the ENnie-winning Mutant: Year Zero and Forbidden Lands RPGs will be used.
