Action Lab Entertainment has a new fantasy series out in the form of Null Faeries. Written and illustrated (pencils and inks) by Chad Cicconi with Federico Sioc, Jr (colours) and Adam Wollet (letters) the Lord of the Rings and Dungeons & Dragons inspired story is filled with faeries, pixies dan dark sorcery.

Ionantha Hesperis is a faerie who has been stripped of her magical powers and yet who manages to be something of a Sherlock Holmes or, given the dark tones of the series, perhaps a Clarice Starling from Silence of the Lambs.
Null Faeries examines very modern issues with its storytelling and touches on tribalism, racial prejudice, sexuality, resource allocation, and the loss of societal status suffered by mature women.
The first issues are up and available at Comixology.
