This is an open-ended but very complex project. It’s also clearly a labour of love for Adam Savage. It’s based on a glove that’s seen briefly in the movie.
He wants two gloves and explains this means he’ll try and build four. Why? In the process of building the gloves he fully expects to ruin some. That extra number means it’s not the end of the world when one construction is wrecked.
If you’re at SDCC on Friday then you can go see the glove in person. We are jelly.
