At the start of the month I stumbled across a beholder! Did it kill me? Nope! The collection of eye tyrant dice bags, inspired by the familiar D&D horror, won me over with their quirky charm and usefulness. I want to rummage around in the mouth of a beast before every dramatic dice roll.
You can buy your own clever dice bag from The Adventurer’s Kit on Etsy.
Or, if you want, you can admire the new design – inspired by one Doctor Zoidberg – here on Geek Native and then try and win one of your own!
It gets better. In this competition you try and win a Zoidberg inspired dice bag, an eye tyrant dice bag or a Cthulhu dice bag. You get to pick but your selection influences your chance to win.
Here’s how to play;
- You must be in the United States or Canada for shipping
- Log into the widget below
- Click on one, two or three of the panels in the widget to reveal the missions
- Click on the Twitter button located in the panel
- Record your tweet
At the end of the competition the widget will pick one tweet at random. If it’s your tweet – you’re the winner. If it’s your tweet for the Zoidberg inspired dice bag then that’s what you win. If the widget picks your tweet for the Cthulhu bag then you’ll win the Cthulhu bag. Easy!
(Hint: You can tweet for each bag once a day)
Here’s the Zoidberg inspired design!
Not to leave the other two out; the eye tyrant and Cthulhu.
Prize provided by The Adventurer’s Kit (thank you!). Competition open only to US and Canada.
So, those of us that don’t have twitter are pooched?
Thanks.
‘fraid so! Sorry.
Geek Native runs a few competitions throughout the month and they’re not all Twitter based. Although Twitter is one of the methods that the widget supports (I wish it included Google+ too).
For this competition my goal was to get more people to check out The Adventurer’s Kit’s great Etsy store. Therefore I needed a competition mechanic that helped spread news/awareness about it. Twitter’s free and a retweet isn’t a commitment to follow Geek Native or subscribe to anything.
Well I just gotta put it this way then.
1> I already knew about them.
And 2> If this is my worst problem today it’s a good day, right?
I hope it’s a good day :)
Even if you can’t enter – feel free to spread the word. I’d like to drum up as much attention for this store (it’s not mine; they just caught my eye) as possible.
