Titan Comics has released the official video trailer for Vampire: The Masquerade: Wake in Hate #1, offering a visual hook for the upcoming four-part comic series. Produced by Lauren Noding and edited by James Notorianni, the short promotional video layers Tom Mandrake’s jagged ink art with motion graphics to set the scene in a riot-torn Seattle.
The trailer’s release comes with a glaring timeline contradiction in the publisher’s official materials. The opening line of the video description announces the comic hits shops on 11 November 2027, while the publisher’s footer copy in the exact same text confirms the actual intended release date of 11 November 2026. This scheduling confusion ironically mirrors the turbulent development cycle of Vampire: The Masquerade: Bloodlines 2, the repeatedly delayed video game this comic directly ties into.
Wake in Hate is written by John Lees and centres on Simeon “Silky” Ladock, a Brujah Primogen investigating suspicious, blood-drained corpses during civilian protests. While the comic ties closely to the digital World of Darkness, advance materials haven’t confirmed any playable mechanics or Loresheets for tabletop roleplaying games.
