Geek Native has a long history with mimics. Back in 2019, we touched on the subject with Spencer Estabrooks and the year before, we made the plea that mimics don’t always have to be chests.
I was rather proud of the stepping stone mimic in this game, and I didn’t even get it from the 2019 list. My favourites from that crowdsourced effort include a ladder and chair, as you’d step or sit on those, and those pale in comparison to the minecart mimic, as poor heroes would climb into those.
