Texas in August Studio will soon launch a Kickstarter for Liches: Dance Macabre. You can win a copy and a bunch of other goodies below.
The RPG supplement will have rules for Pathfinder and D&D’s 5e, including;
- 6 lich archetype templates,
- 13 new spells,
- 4 new magic items,
- 12 new monsters,
- A full detailed lich lair,
- And 6 NPC liches, ready for use in a campaign
Liches: Dance Macabre preview
Author Robert Sullivan says the purpose of the book is to help with the lich on many levels. Dance Macabre has insight into the magic of liches, goals and mind.
As Robert notes, liches may have become a staple of RPGs, but they are relatively new compared to other classic horrors and not rooted in folklore in the way vampires, goblins or dragons are.

Liches: Dance Macabre is heading to Kickstarter, which means it’s not finished yet. However, one prize is a copy of Liches: Dance Macabre as it is right now. As the preview video explains, it’s just about done but needs art. Another prize is a coupon that you can trade in to get a free copy of the final digital edition of Liches: Dance Macabre. You’ll have to wait for the book to be ready before you have that option, though. The two other prizes, Hunger from Beyond (Lovecraft horror in Vampire: the Masquerade) and Inn Between Worlds are RPG PDF supplements. You don’t need to be a tabletop gamer to enter this competition, but it’ll help!
