The for-kids smart speaker brand Yoto has landed a deal with Wizards of the Coast.
Now available is an interactive and choice-driven adventure called Dungeons & Dragons: Forge Your Quest. It’s a first for Yoto, who has never previously done a choice-driven book.

Paul Morrissey, publishing lead, Wizards of the Coast, told the press;
This audio card captures the heart of D&D, and continues the game’s rich legacy of imaginative play. We’re excited to see this beloved world expanded for Yoto listeners, helping them take the reins to their own adventures and use their Yoto in a way they haven’t experienced before.”
Forge Your Quest is for young adventurers aged eight and up, and the audio story follows Juna, Bats, and Tyradel through the Undermountain. Listeners choose their class (wizard or fighter) and navigate using the Yoto Player or Yoto Mini, encountering unique flora, thwarting thieves, and battling monsters in a quest for Xanathar’s hidden ring.
Nicole Torre, audio producer, North America, Yoto,
We’re delighted to bring the first choice-driven audio card to Yoto, and I can’t think of a better way to kick things off than with an action-adventure set deep in the tunnels of Undermountain. We hope young listeners will love this immersive introduction to the exciting world of D&D as they forge their own quest.”
Forge Your Adventure isn’t the only D&D title on Yoto as there is a Dungeon Academy already.
The Yoto is a smart device without a screen which ‘cards’ are slotted into so that an internet connection isn’t needed. There’s a mini version as well.
