Boom Studios! and Wizards of the Coast have announced a new Magic: The Gathering comic book series.
Physical copies are coming exclusively to local comic book shops in April and digital copies to ComiXology and the usual suspects.
The plot picks up after the necromancer Liliana Vess returns home to become a professor at a college of magic and detects… well, something hidden.
Magic: The Hidden Planeswalker is from screenwriter Mairghread Scott (Transformers, Guardians of the Galaxy), artist Fabiana Mascolo (Firefly: Brand New’ Verse) and letterer Ed Dukeshire.
The plot will pitch Liliana against Tezzeret, the Master of Metal and as not unheard of for Magic: TG plots, the fate of the entire multiverse may depend on the outcome.
