January 8th is the air date for Miss Kuroitsu from the Monster Development Department. It’s an anime about Touka Kuroitsu and an evil organisation that she works for.
As the name suggests, Touka’s job is brewing up monsters.
The theme music to the rather tells a story, doesn’t it? Perhaps Miss Kuroitsu isn’t going to be a dramatic and solemn action series. A comedy? A relationship drama? Some Frankenstein creation in between?
We know who the piece’s villain is, and it’s not burdensome heroes or meddling teenagers and their dogs. The villain is Kuroitsu’s boss!
The life of the minions in the evil organisation of Agastya seems rather bureaucratic with presentations demanded, time allocations and limited budgets. I guess the lure to the job is in the job title! Making monsters.
