Andrzej Sapkowski is the talented author behind The Witcher fantasy series. From Polish fantasy fiction to computer games to Netflix shows, The Witcher has risen to mainstream fame.

The Tower of Fools is published today. If you haven’t pre-ordered it (or even if you have!) then Geek Native can give readers in the UK a chance to win a copy.

Published by Gollancz, The Tower of Fools is the first book in a new series. It’ll be followed by Warriors of God, which will be out in October. Not long to wait.

Reinmar of Bielau, called Reynevan, flees after being caught in an affair with a knight’s wife. I’ve been able to find a fan review from Donovan De Cicco, who managed to get hold of a copy. Donovan’ 16-minute video essay is thorough, but the takeaway is it’s the story is its own thing from The Witcher, and this edition is translated better.
