Often Geek Native is lucky enough to work with a publisher on competitions. Prizes help raise awareness. Not always, for months, once a month, I’ve also been giving away a bought and paid for board or card game. You can see what I mean in the competitions section.
This prize is a little different. This comes from Geek Native’s own store. Okay, it’s a Redbubble-powered store, so I don’t actually have a basement filled with printing presses. Which is a good thing! I like Redbubble, am a customer and am pleased with their production quality.
There’s an Off Duty Gamemaster hardcover journal to giveaway. Crack it open, and you’ll find it has squared markings/graph markings inside, so you can use it to write in or draw maps.
Entering the competition is easy. Winning requires some luck. Use the widget below to register (a necessary step to contact the winner) and complete tasks to earn points. Each point you have is a chance of being picked as the one lucky winner. You’ll never have to tag or spam friends.
a Rafflecopter giveaway(T&Cs apply | Ends 26th June 2021)
If you do log into the widget, then you’ll see there’s a survey to answer. How often are you the GM in your tabletop RPG sessions?
That’s a subject Geek Native will return to. I’ll write up this survey and use that article to launch a broader discussion.
An example of something similar is the survey on how long RPG sessions last. There’s an evergreen poll running for now, which the blog can return to now and then and look for trends and share updates.
That survey shows over 20% of readers struggle to get a regular game at all, but most then play for three or four hours.

I answered that I GM about 50% of the time because I took it as an overall average. So far this year all I’ve done is GM (two different campaigns) but one of those campaigns is coming to a break point and someone else will run something for a while. The other campaign will continue as is.
Thanks! I think that was the right thing to do; these are aggregate suggestions so aggregated/average estimates are fair!
Have fun in both campaigns :)
Likewise generally the GM about half the time, but not really managed much gaming in the last year
I’m not usually the GM, that’s my husband. We play weekly with a good sized group and rotate between 3 games. I am in the planning stages of my first game though.
