Summer Ghost is only 40 minutes long but stunning, and perhaps that’s not a surprise coming from the director Loundraw, known for fantastic illustrations.

I have no regrets, but I don’t need to give Metropolis a third chance, and when I get back into a Scotland Loves Anime cinema seat later this week, it’ll be for all new experiences.

I watched the 2019 animation Seven Days War in Scotland Loves Anime in 2022, which means a big screen and an audience.

I enjoyed Blue Thermal. Some people will love Blue Thermal; it’ll touch sometime deep in those who might also have that hunger for silent speed through the heavens.

I had high hopes for The Tunnel to Summer, The Exit of Goodbyes. I enjoyed the feature-length and was moved by it sometimes, but I’m not sure all my aspirations were met.
