Star Trek: TNG makeup test reel

January 12, 2013 by Andrew Girdwood 4 Comments

Before any show starts filming in earnest they’ll test the look of the characters; different hair styles, clothes and accessories. In the case of Star Trek: The Next Generation this also means different eye colours for androids and visors for Geordi. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_lvG0jm0B5Y YouTube calls this “creepy TNG test footage”. Do you agree? There’s certainly some […]

December 31, 2012 by Andrew Girdwood Leave a Comment

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7_nVEm5Yc3c Over 10 minutes of out-takes, bloopers and gags from Star Trek: The Generation season 2. Patrick Stewart in The Sims Medieval trailer

February 9, 2011 by Andrew Girdwood Leave a Comment

EA are promoting The Sims Medieval via a funky video gadget widget thingy of doom. They’re also using the tried and tested voice of Patrick Stewart. It’s simple but effective. Rather than having just one video to promote the game or release a bunch in an annoying drip-drip effect, hoping the bloggers stay interested, EA […]

A poll carried out by Brand Republic’s Marketing magazine of TV adverts placed the Jedward ad from Nintendo among the most annoying ads of the year. The ad, produced by Karmarama, came in at 7th place just behind the Foxy Bing ad and just ahead of the Moonpig.com ad. Gocompare’s annoying opera singer ad series […]
