Language! Mark Millar! Action! The trailer for Kick-Ass 2 is out. It seems to be official although I’ve seen it yanked from some places. Kick-Ass as inspired a large number of normal people to don superhero costumes and take the law into their own hands. Meanwhile Red Mist starts to plot his revenge on the […]

Starcraft fan film: Hunt for Kerrigan
This fan film was put together by RP WhaBam. They look to be a newish geek friendly channel, having done this Assassin’s Creed – Femme Fatale vid a few months back have now gone on to do Starcraft. Good timing too. The ghost star in this latest video is Stacey Roy. At the time of […]
G.I. Joe: 60 seconds of Storm Shadow versus Snake Eyes
If there’s on rule of G.I. Joe it is that Snake Eyes is always one of the coolest characters. Even if the episode (or, dare I say it; the movie) is a little weak it’s still worth following this silent ninja. G.I. Joe Retaliation has everything to play for. All being well; I’ll see it […]
Second After Earth trailer
I still hold M. Night Shyamalan in pretty high esteem although it does feel like he’s been searching for a hit for a while. It could well be After Earth with the mega star combo of Jaden and Will Smith, playing father and son, will be it. This trailer shows Kitai Rage (Jaden) having to […]
Little Witch trailer
I suspect this one draws on the same sources of inspiration that helped the Harry Potter stories along. Little Witch is a Studio Trigger production, directed by Yoh Yoshinari and produced by Naoko Tsutsumi. They’ve both previously worked on the Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt series. The anime movie opened in Japan at the start […]
Latest Star Trek Into Darkness trailer looks incredible
Looks good, huh? Glad to see Spock getting a little screen time in this one. Actually, the trailer is clever in that it gives plenty of the bridge crew a look in. There’s a chance to spot your favourite. Benedict Cumberbatch glows with evil. His star will climb further. I don’t know about you but […]
Princess Bride and Jack the Giant Slayer mashup
What a clever idea. You see the Princess Bride. You hear trailer clips from Jack the Giant Slayer. The fact that they fit so well is, in part, thanks to André the Giant being so awesome in Princess Bride. This piece of video stitching was done by Lance Ford who put together the The Hobbit […]
UK trailer for Iron Man 3 is impressive
The UK trailer for Iron Man 3 gives a good idea of what the film will be like. We knew it would be a 70s style political thriller hiding in the skin of a superhero movie (at least according to Marvel) and that’s what this trailer seems to show. Hence the politics, the drama and […]
Fan film: Wonder Woman versus Nazis
The official name of this video is “Female Super Hero Fan Film” and the character is called “Diana” or “some sort of super woman” in the script. However, the outro credits clearly show the Wonder Woman symbol and mention Wonder Woman. I wonder whether they were asked to tone it down. The team might have […]
Zombies, cowboys and Wesley Snipes’ Gallowwalkers
Gallowwalkers was filmed a few years back by Andrew Goth but nothing happened with it. Now, a bit like a zombie, it may be back from the dead with a release date of this year. Staring Wesley Snipes, Tanit Phoenix, Riley Smith, Kevin Howarth and Patrick Bergin, the story follows a man with a small […]
