If you want to check out some really impressive trailers for DC Universe then there’s Fractured Future and the intro trailer that kicked it all off. This Batcave trailer is not in the same league. Why not? Rather than being an impressive cinematic this is a trailer of actual gameplay and while the graphics are […]

Warhammer 40K: Dawn of War II – Retribution
If everything went according to THQ’s plan the Dawn of War II beta ran until midnight on Feb 24th. Players who had bought Dawn of War via STEAM the first time around had the chance to become a beta player for this nearly final bug round. I’m not sure if everything did go to plan […]
Orcs Must Die! Trailer
Some of the team behind Halo Wars and Age of Empires set up a new game company called Robot Entertainment in 2009. Orcs Must Die! is the first original game from them. Don’t negotiate with them. Don’t just maim them. You must kill the orcs, This is the quote the CEO of Robot Entertainment, Patrick […]
What’s going on with Dead Island?
First we had the Dead Island trailer which went viral almost straight away. Now we’ve had rumours and counter rumours that there will be a Dead Island movie. Right now it looks like the counter rumours are right. There will be no Dead Island movie… yet. Just in case you’ve not seen it – and […]
Surreal “Diamonds” Minecraft trailer
This is an user created trailer-meets-ad for Minecraft. If you’re that way inclined you may have noticed that “Deep Cover” by Dr. Dre (featuring the Snoop Dogg) as well as “The Forecast” by NERO feature in this little short. The video was directed by Martin Waltz (isn’t that a good name) and uploaded by TKRXT […]

It’ll be be released for the PC in the summer of this year – so should ride the wave of interest the TV production should generate. The single player campaign was written under the supervision of George R. […]

Darkspore beta trailer
Darkspore is nearly the sequel to Spore. It’s a little different. For a start, EA are referring to it as a “Sci-Fi Action RPG”. Maxis Studio are still involved. In Darkspore the story starts with the player being woken up by Helix, a female AI, after eons of cryogenic sleep. The player is one of […]
Green Lantern: Rise of the Manhunters game trailer
Warner and DC have released today the first “Green Latern: Rise of the Manhunters” video game trailer. It’s been a busy day for trailers but this one is sure to stand out. The Green Latern video game is uber mega multi-platform. It’s out for the Xbox, PS3, Wii and the DS as well. I’m never […]
Rift trailer: Cry Havoc
Trion Worlds have released another video preview of their forthcoming Rift MMORPG. This video is very different from their cinematic trailer that put the focus on the dangers of the Rifts , the Guaridans and Defiants. Instead, the Cry Havoc video – some of it looks like it’s sped up – shows off the multi-player […]
