If an alien entity from beyond the stars offered you a deal… would you take it?
In D&D, Warlocks are those people who accepted a deal. It might be with some demonic power, a powerful fey or perhaps even some outside time. So, in theory, that patron could also be an alien symbiote, right?
Unlike traditional 5e Warlocks, Sewer Brew Games imagines the Symbiote as a patron that lives inside the Warlock’s body, enhancing strength and durability in exchange for a relentless hunger for flesh!
That’s why The Symbiote patron reminds me a little of an antihero known as Venom.
At the first level, the Warlock host of the Symbiote develops an alien way of thinking and a powerful bond with their new patron, and this not only offers knowledge of Deep SPeech but resistance to Psychic damage too.
Later on the class development, the Symbiote’s unquenchable hunger can be unleased on foes. The tendrils of the alien lash out in all directions, forcing targets to make Dexterity Saving Throws or face the consequences of the Alien Might ability.
The Symbiote was written by Teddy South and the front cover illustrated by Roxy Blazey. The class is available from DMs Guild for $3.00.
