Nightfall Games are working to bring SLA Industries back to the market after a successful Kickstarter for a second edition.
Today we learn that they are working on two more games at the same time.
The SLA Industries quickstart rules have been out for a while and progress reports with game material from the developing game have become best-sellers on DriveThuRPG.
Today, that progress has continued with the company announcing the S5S game system. As seen in the quickstart players might roll up tp 6d10 to determine success; with one d10 acting as the Success dice and five as the Skill dice.

Now, the point of having a games system or rules engine is that you can apply it to more than one RPG. We might infer from the announcement that Nightfall Games are thinking about what might follow SLA.
However, we don’t need to infer anything as Nightfall predict this question and address it directly in their announcement.
At present, this system is only available for SLA Industries 2nd Edition, but will be a key part of the Nightfall Games offering over future years.
There will be other Nightfall Games in future years. We’re told they’re working on two new games and we’ll hear about one soon that uses another well-known game system. Their other project will use S5S.
… the Nightfall Team have been finalising SLA Industries: 2nd Edition and securing the future of the company. SLA Industries is core to this future, but we additionally plan on becoming more than a ‘one trick pony’. As such we are developing 2 new games. The first, which will be announced fairly soon, will use a well known games system. The second though, will use the S5S system as its foundation. We also expect future publications to do the same.
