Studio Ghibli help make Zoom calls better

Zoom and many other video conferencing systems have virtual green screen systems which allow you to hide messy rooms behind uploaded backgrounds.

These backgrounds don’t stop your data turning up in China, but they do make the conferences a bit more interesting. This week, Studio Ghibli stepped up and helped out by providing eight backgrounds that should work a treat.

They’re free to use if you’re not using them for commercial purposes. I.e., you can’t have someone using the virtual background appear in your ad.
