Updates from Nightfall Games’ World of Progress Facebook account have confirmed that the hotly anticipated Kickstarter for SLA Industries 2nd edition is on track fora Kickstarter launch on the 17th September.
Dream Entities
SLA has Carrien as enemies, mutant monsters that stalk the ruined parts of the city as well as Cannibals. Teasers for SLA 2 talk about Dream Entities as a new type of threat.
Does this illustration show a Dream Entities? It was shared with Nightfall while talking about threat analysis, it doesn’t seem like a Carrien but could conceivably be a Canibal.

Changes to Ebonites
SLA 2e will still have Ebons and Wasters. There will, however, be two fewer Ebb disciplines. It looks like the discipline of light has been absorbed into Blast. The Red and Blue Thermals have somewhat merged as well; with Ebons being able to use Blue, the ice power, and Wasters having access to Red, the fire power.
Based on Facebook teasers these changes are not being handwaved away. They’re being written into the game’s lore.
Since the Momic returned to Mort, an unexplained imbalance occurred in the Ebb, leading to a number of changes that the Necanthrope order has yet been able to put right.
