Half of Geek Native HQ are big fans of HyperX and Kingston Technology. The other half hadn’t heard of either brand. That’s because Kingston is an independent memory manufacturer, it’s big, but it’s not one of those megacorps that could end up being the villains in a cyberpunk RPG. HyperX is the gaming arm of the technology company.
The “We’re All Gamers” campaign is a brand push to ensure that all of Geek Native HQ has heard of HyperX (mission achieved) and that the number of people across Europe who are aware of the American company increases.
They’re doing this with brand ambassadors; celebs who endorse the company’s tech.
These ambassadors include the singer Post Malone, Raphaël Varane a French football star, Marco Reus, a German football star, Dele Alli, an English football star, Casemiro, a Brazilian football star, Shroud, a streamer, Pokimane, who is also a streamer and Rush who is a professional CSGO player.
I can’t say football stars speak to me very loudly, but I was interested enough to go check out HyperX’s website and they certainly do seem to have put some thought into their tech. I’m toying with the idea of a fancy microphone so checked out their QuadCast video.
