Soundscapes turned into cityscapes

This a little strange, a little weird, especially as it is coming from a door company but we’re talking about data processing and blending that with art. That’s geeky enough for my interests, and the effects are pretty cool, too.

We’re talking about waveforms here and here’s what Wikimedia use to illustrate what those look like.

So, with that in mind, let’s take some clips of famous songs that mention cities, sample their waveform and see if we can transform that into a cityscape skyline.
