Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay Fourth Edition runs on a percentile d100 roll-under engine anchored by Success Levels. Characters test their characteristics and skills against target numbers, with degrees of success or failure directly informing outcomes. Combat is brutal, tactical, and decisive, incorporating opposed rolls and an Advantage mechanic that swings momentum dramatically in battle. Rather than heroic demigods, players portray rat catchers, grave robbers, river wardens, and hedge wizards, each progressing through a sprawling career path while struggling against severe critical wounds, weapon traits, and sudden miscasts.
The setting is the Old World at its mud-splattered best. It balances satirical black humour with gothic horror, investigative urban dread, and Chaos’s insidious corruption. Beyond simple dungeon delves, campaigns hinge on social friction, local politics, and dark cults operating behind respectable civic facades. Included sourcebooks like Altdorf: Crown of the Empire and Middenheim: City of the White Wolf provide hundreds of pages of neighbourhood maps, NPC motivations, and plot threads, offering ready-made sandboxes for GM preparation.
Adventures form the core of this bundle. The headline offering is the revised Director’s Cut of The Enemy Within by legendary designer Graeme Davis, accompanied by its Companion volumes. Spanning Enemy in Shadows, Death on the Reik, and Power Behind the Throne, the sequence stands among the most celebrated campaigns in tabletop gaming history. Alongside these sprawling investigations, the Ubersreik Adventures trilogies and modular plug-in supplements like Buildings of the Reikland give tables flexible options for both quick one-shots and sustained play.
The bundle supports Children’s Health Foundation, funding paediatric healthcare equipment and medical research across Children’s Health Ireland hospitals. The offer runs until 19:00 GMT on Friday, 27 November 2026. All PDF rulebooks, supplements, and adventures are DRM-free and redeemable via DriveThruRPG.
