Communication is good. The world would be a better place if we did it more often.
In the interests of starting small and trying to make Geek Native a better place, there’s now the Chat Portal on the site. You can find it via the very top navigation bar.
At the Chat Portal, you’ll be able to see the most recent comments on the blog no matter which blog post they happened on, whether it’s a new story or an old one.
If you visit the Chat Portal you’ll also find two comment teleport links. One takes you to a random article with comments on (biased towards more recent article) and the other to a random article that’s yet to have a comment (same bias). These two links can be quite a fun way to explore the site.
The last feature on the Chat Portal is an explanation of the three badges you can unlock via Geek Native’s comment system. You too, can become a cyborg.
Patron Community
Geek Native has a newly launched Patreon (complete with free sticker special offer). At the time of writing the paint is still fresh but once that dries there will also be a community chat area for backers and backer-curious.
