We’ve made an effort to look some indie RPG Kickstarters in recent weeks lest they’re overshadowed by the big hitters. Now let’s make the time to look at an indie comic book Kickstarter. Andrea Wolf’s Buzzard! is asking for a mere €300 and, a few days into the campaign has raised more than €200 from over a dozen backers. This campaign is going to fund and you can follow its progress at the campaign page.
I’ve read the rough cut of Buzzard and can confirm Wolf’s nailed it with the ‘Kingsman meets Deadpool’ description. It’s exactly that. Fancy that? This comic book project is probably for you.
It takes just a pledge of €5 (£4) to get the physical copy and the ~24-paged PDF if yours for only €1 (less than a quid!). That’s worth noting; Wolf isn’t asking for much to fund this campaign but he’s not taking much in per pledge either.
