USAopoly, known for themed Monopoly games like the newly announced Talisman Monopoly, have a Harry Potter themed version of Scrabble on the way.
Scrabble: World of Harry Potter adds a magical twist to the game insofar as Wizarding World vocabulary words earn bonuses. Also, character names, places, spells and potion names are all accepted.
USAopoly haven’t told us much more than that but Geek Native ran some Harry Potter spells through a traditional Scrabble score system, and this is what we found;

| Mimblewimble | A curse that prevents target revealing certain information | 25 +7 letters |
| Quietus | Returns a magically enhanced voice to normal | 16 +7 letters |
| Verdimillious | A spell that causes green sparks to fly from a wand | 19 +7 letters |
Do you use the 7 letter bonus rule? It can be worth an extra 50 points which would turn some of these Harry Potter Scrabble spells into deadly moves if they were allowed in the traditional version of the game.
I can 100% say I would be worse at this than I am at normal scrabble, not because I wouldn’t be able to think of the words – I would own that shit – but the spelling, my spelling would be appalling. Still, it looks awesome!
