I really enjoyed Patema Inverted. It stirs my vertigo but is an incredible anime.
We follow a brave young woman as she explores her underground home and discovers a whole new world. This is a world with blue skies, green grass and the strangest thing of all — the grass is her sky and the people who live in this world walk upside down on it. It would be easy for Patema to fall “upwards” and vanish completely. No wonder my vertigo was trembling, right?
On December 1st Patema Inverted is out for sale in the UK and you can buy it at Amazon. The standard copy is a dual format; that’s to say you get both a DVD and blu-ray with the purchase.
