Tom Mabe has a great piece of Halloween tech here with this flying ghost. I don’t know whether to laugh at the people who run off when this spectre sneaks up behind them and screams or whether to recognise that they’ve done the sensible thing!
Mabe won’t say how he created this skull demon. This might be to help him use the trick again and keep those YouTube impressions coming in but some suspect he used a quadrocopter.
Tom Mabe isn’t alone. Alton Porter is happy to say he used a hacked quadrocopter in conjunction with a ghost costume for his flying spook. He cleverly added two red LEDs for glowing eyes.
One thing though – notice how the end of Alton’s ghost flutter in the down draft of the quadrocopter. Did you see Mabe’s flying ghost do anything similar?
