Back in June 2012, during E3, when Geek Native first posted about Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch it didn’t really set the world aflame.
We had Level-5 and Studio Ghibli but it didn’t seem to be enough. I wonder what put people off? Was it an unfashionable time for JRPGs? Or did it look too different for people to speculate on?
Things have changed. Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch now seems to be hot. Respected bloggers like Karl Koebke from GamrReview and Kotaku’s Jason Schreier have given it the thumbs up.
I’m tempted to buy it – even though I don’t have the time to play it and have many games still in the wrappers. Based on the latest trailer, if I do buy it and play it – it’ll will be Japanese with subtitles!
Here’s the E3 trailer:
I’ve seen a trailer with much more irritating American dub.
