Free League Publishing and Italian design studio Two Little Mice have launched the physical edition of Outgunned Superheroes today. The standalone tabletop roleplaying game adapts the cinematic Director’s Cut rules to the superhero genre and is available worldwide in print, arriving roughly six months after its initial digital release.

Designers Riccardo Sirignano and Luca Senesi, the duo behind Two Little Mice, previously navigated a corporate buyout by CMON before regaining independence and forming a publishing partnership with Stockholm-based Free League Publishing. Operating under the Free League Workshop program, they continue to expand their action-movie-inspired game mechanics to an international audience.
Outgunned Superheroes uses the established Director’s Cut system. Players roll a pool of six-sided dice, looking for matching sets like pairs and three-of-a-kinds rather than calculating numerical totals. Character creation pairs a specific Role with a Trope, defining the hero before the action begins.
The game is completely standalone. The original Outgunned rulebook is not required to play, though the two games are fully compatible. For players who already own the original game, this standalone approach means purchasing the new book will inevitably involve buying a reprint of the core rules alongside the new superhero content.

The physical release includes four primary products, with digital editions fulfilled via DriveThruRPG:
