The first teaser trailer for Yorgos Lanthimos’ (Poor Things, Kinds of Kindness) sci-fi comedy Bugonia has dropped from Focus Features, which sees the director reunite with actor Emma Stone.
Bugonia is an English-language remake of the South Korean movie Save the Green Planet! and follows “two conspiracy obsessed young men who kidnap the high-powered CEO of a major company, convinced that she is an alien intent on destroying planet Earth.”
From the teaser trailer, this looks a little off the chain, and very much Lanthimos! Not going to lie, I’m fairly excited about it already.
The film, written by Will Tracy and produced by Ari Aster, also stars Jesse Plemons, Aidan Delbis, Stavros Halkias, and Alicia Silverstone.

Bugonia will be released for a “special limited engagement” on 24th October, with a wider cinema release on 31st October.
