Have you ever wondered why some characters in survival horror have survived so long? I’m asking because it’s a mean thing, yet I do it.
The film, which was made by Jorge Baldeon using tools like Blender, starts with a hooded figure running through violence.
Jorge says;
This project was both a technical and artistic experiment, allowing me full creative control over every aspect, from modeling to sound design.
After that dramatic opening, we cut to a desolate, possibly post-apocalyptic landscape with burnt-out vehicles, where a lone figure with a rifle is seen and approaches a skeleton.
Our hero, likely the survivor from the opening drama, follows a food trail to a house. An actual food trail.
Jorge added;
The film explores themes of survival, temptation, and deception, using atmospheric storytelling and detailed environments to build tension.
I certainly think it has a unique monster. Spoiler? Well, I didn’t pick the YouTube thumbnail.
It’s okay to be brave and explore, though! It really is. For example, you could click on this teleport link right now and get whisked off to a random short film.
