Tokyo Twenty Fourth Ward is a new anime from JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure director

Naokatsu Tsuda, who directed the first four JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure anime series and is the chief director of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind, is helming Tokyo Twenty Fourth Ward.

The action takes place in the artificial island called “Far East Special District Outside of the Law” (aka 24th Ward), which sets the tone of the series!

Tokyo Twenty Fourth Ward kicks off on Japanese TV in early January. We follow three childhood friends of different social standing, their relationships, and how that involves following an incident.

On the event’s first anniversary, phones ring and the message “choose the future” is sent from a dead friend. At least, a friend all three of the characters believed to be dead.
