Funimation has the exclusive of WIT Studio’s Ranking of Kings. It’ll air in Japanese, with English subtitles (like the trailer below) first, then with English dubs.
The series is based on the web manga about a deaf boy, not strong enough to lift a sword, who happens to be the firstborn Prince and wants to become King.
Our Prince, Bojji, has a best friend – a shadow called Kage. Kage is all who remains of a once-great clan of assassins and who now has a pivotal role in Bojji’s life.
It’s a coming of age story as, as you’d expect, Bojji has to deal with prejudice and adversity.
Funimation will start to run the series from the 15h of October in the States, Canada, UK, Australia, New Zealand, Europe, and elsewhere.
