Animation powerhouse Aniplex is getting into trading card games. It’s the first time, amazingly, they’ve done this.
Season one premiers in October, and there’s a second season already signed off. Season two of Build Divide -#000000- is due April 2022.
I guess that shows there can be no half measures. For Aniplex to enter the trading card game market now, leading with a high profile anime piece, it needs to do so boldly and fully commit.
The game is due out at the same time. Liden Films and Yuhodo, of whom Aniplex are working, are at the helm. The #000000 is a hex code, used commonly in HTML for black colour, gives the anime its “Code Black” name.
