The Nevers trailer: Victorian women with superpowers

Imagine the scandal in Victorian London when a supernatural event gives people strange powers. Most of those people are women.

HBO has shared another look at The Nevers, the Victorian superhero series in which Joss Whedon is no longer involved.

Laura Donnelly’s character, the mysterious and quick-fisted Amalia True and Ann Skelly’s Penance Adair offer shelter to some of the newly changed women and, because they’ve done so, find themselves facing down forces determined to get rid of them.
