Pinnacle Entertainment Group have revealed a deal with the virtual tabletop Foundry. The SWADE pack is free for the platform.
Foundry is a new and interesting arrival in the competitive VTT arena, unlike many others, Foundry does not charge a license free. You pay once and host the software yourself. There are pros and cons to this approach but also compromises in which you can rent server space to run the system too.
Cubicle 7 and Warhammer were one of the first to sign with Foundry, and you buy the Warhammer pack from Cubicle 7, not from a Foundry marketplace.
It looks like a slightly different set up for Savage Worlds. There’s a summary page on Foundry for SWADE and that then links through to a GitHub page for the pack. GitHub is a depositry and documentation community for developers.
While that means you need enough technical skills to navigate GitHub, it also means that the Savage Worlds pack for Foundry is entirely free.
