July 27, 2013 by Andrew Girdwood Leave a Comment

She’s not Jessica Rabbit. She’s not Boba Fett. Behold Jessica Fett. Somehow I doubt we’ll be seeing her in the next Star Wars trilogies. Via Neatorama.

Boba Fett stained glass

April 2, 2013 by Andrew Girdwood Leave a Comment

This remarkable piece of art was created by Michael McLane. It shows the ever popular bounty hunter, Boba Fett, in stained glass. I always associate churches with stained glass and can only imagine what sort of church a display like this would be part of.

Star Wars helmets steampunk style

January 11, 2013 by Andrew Girdwood Leave a Comment

Kevin Mowrer describes the process of creating these steampunk Star Wars helmets as a “total blast”. Writing on his blog he says that the Stormtrooper was actually the most challenging to do and that it was son who had the idea for a giant monocle for the eye. I think it makes the piece work […]

Prop builder Allen Amis makes a living building custom sci-fi weapons and armour. The armour Amis has created is a fantastic hybrid of shogun with the infamous bounty hunter Boba Fett. What do […]

May 4, 2012 by Andrew Girdwood Leave a Comment

To finish off Star Wars Day is a rumour… a rumour with some backbone. Screen Rant interviewed director Joe Johnston and discovered that he was trying to get George Lucas to make another Star Wars film. In particular, Johnston was trying to get permission to make a Star Wars film about Boba Fett. Nothing was […]

An avalanche of Star Wars cupcakes for #StarWarsDay

May 4, 2012 by Andrew Girdwood Leave a Comment

In the Star Wars Day madness it is important to keep your energy levels up. You could take the Jedi approach to this. You could even take the Sith approach and recharge by stamping on people’s sand castles. However, there is an easier way – there is the cupcake way. Welcome to the cupcake side […]

Clinton Felker’s samurai Star Wars

January 29, 2012 by Andrew Girdwood Leave a Comment

Clinton Felker’s awesome samurai Boba Fett has been doing the rounds on the blogs again. I can see why – it’s an incredible drawing. It’s well worth checking out his blog as there’s a whole collection. I think the Stormtrooper archer is my favourite. What about you?

Do check out the website of Christopher Uminga as he draws some fantasticly cute and dangerous comic book heroes and villians. He also takes commission.
