Attack on Titan mashup with Super Smash Bros

March 16, 2014 by Andrew Girdwood Leave a Comment

I don’t think you even need to know the hugely popular Attack on Titan opening sequence to enjoy this. It’ll come across as a high octane Super Smash Bros trailer. That said; I think it helps to know Super Smash Bros otherwise you might wonder what all these characters are going. I’ll call it “Attack […]

Subaru surprises audiences with Attack on Titan ad

January 26, 2014 by Andrew Girdwood 1 Comment

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NQkgmHEA5_E This TV ad from Subaru is a collaboration with the manga Attack on Titan. There’s a live action movie coming and so these Titans give us a glimpse at how scary they could be. It reminds me of the section the anime had on the Survey Corp horses and how important it was they […]

Sinister Attack on Titan t-shirt

November 12, 2013 by Andrew Girdwood Leave a Comment

I think Qwertee have nailed the look and feel of Attack on Titan with this t-shirt design. Called “Protect the Wall” it gets the grim feel of the Titans, a theme the anime cycles back to frequently, as well as the determination of the defenders. What do you think? Is this something you’d wear?

The 12 Masks of Halloween: #1 Silicone Mask Flayed

October 19, 2013 by Andrew Girdwood Leave a Comment

The 12 Masks of Halloween is something of a tradition here at Geek Native. Every year these masks bubble to the surface and act as a count down to Halloween. Think of it as a geeky alternative to an advent calendar.

Kaiyodo is a Japanese model company that specialises in figures and garage kits. It tends to focus on anime but its range includes King Kong, Godzilla and some other licenses. They’ve also doing well in the race to bring official Attack on Titan models to market. In Japan these gory models will be sold via […]

What if Attack on Titan had cute monsters? Pokemon mashup

September 6, 2013 by Andrew Girdwood Leave a Comment

Is there a connection between these monsters and mankind? Is there anyway we can harness the power of these creatures and use them to battle for us? Questions that might like the awesome Attack on Titan with Pokemon? Perhaps? If I push my luck! At the very least these questions are an excuse to admire […]

Mashup: Attack on Totoro

September 2, 2013 by Andrew Girdwood Leave a Comment

The question is no longer, “Can you mash up My Neighbour Totoro with Attack on Titan?” Why not? Ron Chan shows quite clearly that you can. The question is now, “Should you mash up y Neighbour Totoro with Attack on Titan?” What do you think? Entirely too weird? Horribly good?

Attack on Titan redone Metal style

August 31, 2013 by Andrew Girdwood Leave a Comment

Geek Native’s not shared any 331Erock for a while. If you’re a fan you’ll be following already. If you’re not a fan you’ll already know it. That said; this Attack on Titan is worth a listen. Attack on Titan, featured in Irregular Reconnaissance, is an anime doing well in the East and West at once. […]
